This brass mural focuses not on fully-realized characters, but on performers exploring their roles, honing their talents and endeavoring to perfect their craft.
The image on the right is athletic and aggressive, conveying the strength, stamina and physical control that are essential tools for any performer.
The two central images celebrate the dance - an integral element of live theater. The dancer's challenge is to make the difficult and demanding appear effortless.
The figure on the lefts in in a "present" position, inviting patrons into the theater and guiding them towards the entrance.
