Joslyn’s Kent Bellows Mentoring Program enrolled the mural artists into the Urban Arts Program, a graffiti abatement and prevention project aimed at giving teens interested in graffiti a legal and constructive outlet to express themselves while building professional mural skills.

Additional Information: The artist has created a whimsical, yet substantial permanent entranceway for Dundee Community Garden. Dan Newberry captures the architectural styles and here-to-stay culture of one of Omaha’s premier neighborhoods. An elegant entrance to both the Garden and Merchant District, this stunning edifice makes a wordless statement inviting ALL to join in.

Additional Information: Hanscom Postcard was created during summer 2014 as the arts element for the University of Nebraska at Omaha SummerWorks program. 150 plus participants helped to paint this mural over the span of 2.5 months.
